When not to use a temporary email
Never register ad accounts, payment services, affiliate network accounts or anything with money on a disposable address: if you lose access, you can't reset the password or pass verification. Use temporary mail for trials, newsletters, gated downloads and testing your own landing page forms.
Maildrop alternatives
If Maildrop doesn't fit, try: 10MinuteMail.net, EmailOnDeck, Inboxes.com (ex-Nada), TemporaryMail.com. Full list: temporary email services.
