Elon Musk's company SpaceXSI (formerly SpaceXAI) launched a unified subscription, The X Subscription, on October 12. A single plan now includes the Grok AI, the Cursor AI code editor and X's premium features. There's no longer any need to pay separately for SuperGrok, Cursor Pro and X Premium.
Plans and pricing

- Free — no charge: basic X features, limited Grok access and a starter Cursor agent allowance.
- Plus — $8 a month. There's currently a 25% discount for 6 months: $6 a month.
- Premium — $30 a month, 4x the usage of Plus. First month at 50% off: $15.
- Super — $100 a month, 15x the usage of Plus. First month: $50.
- Ultra — $200 a month, 50x the usage of Plus and the earliest access to new models. First month: $100.
Annual billing is cheaper. For example, Premium costs $300 a year instead of $360.
What's included
- Grok: chat, voice mode, image and video generation, API access.
- Cursor: local and cloud coding agents.
- Grok Bot — an AI agent that gets tasks done. Available from the Premium plan.
- X: a checkmark, creator tools, advanced analytics and fewer timeline ads. From Premium up, ads almost disappear, and you get a preferred @handle and a reply boost.
According to Teslarati, Premium effectively replaces SuperGrok, Cursor Pro and X Premium+, which used to cost about $90 a month combined.
One shared usage pool
The main change is that Grok and Cursor now share one usage pool, and it refreshes every week. A heavy coding day won't eat your whole month's allowance. According to the company, every paid plan includes at least twice as much coding usage with Grok models as the comparable old Cursor plan.
One caveat: third-party models in Cursor (not Grok) are available from Premium up, but they're billed separately at API list prices through top-ups. You can set a spending cap.
What about current subscriptions
Existing SuperGrok, Cursor and X Premium subscribers don't have to switch. The option to switch is gradually appearing in billing settings, and unused time on the old plan will be prorated. But the switch is permanent: once accounts are unified, you can't go back to the old plan, and old plans are already closed to new users.
What it means for affiliate marketers
- A cheaper work stack. If you already paid for Grok or Cursor for creatives, copy and scripts, the $30 Premium plan covers several subscriptions at once.
- X becomes interesting as a traffic source again. The checkmark, analytics and reply boost come bundled with the AI, so running X accounts for traffic gets more cost-effective. But the platform's spam rules still apply.
- Watch your limits. The shared pool is convenient, but if a whole team works from one account, limits will run out faster. Teams have separate plans at the same per-seat price.
